The Carroll County Arts Council has a tradition of presenting thought-provoking programs in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This year, we present "Race" the powerful chronicle of Jesse Owens’ quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history. His athletic talent thrusts him onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics, where he faces off against Adolf Hitler’s vision of Aryan supremacy.
