A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas

Back by popular demand is the unique pairing of the beloved animated film “Charlie Brown’s Christmas” with the infectious Vince Guaraldi jazz score performed live by the Eric Byrd Trio.

Audiences will enjoy the heartwarming animated film, commercial-free, on the big screen…a special treat since the film was created for television, not movie theatres.  The film has become a holiday classic not just because of its timeless story and unforgettable characters, but also for its sophisticated jazz score.   After the movie, the Eric Byrd Trio will take the stage to perform the brilliant jazz music composed by Vince Guaraldi that helped make this 1965 film stand the test of time through several generations of viewers.

The Eric Byrd Trio has performed throughout the world and they hold the prestigious honor of a Kennedy Center Jazz Ambassadorship. Through that program they have performed to capacity crowds in Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Honduras and Trinidad.  Trio members Eric Byrd (piano) Alphonso Young, Jr. (drums) and Bhagwan Khalsa (bass) are energetic, masterful musicians of modern jazz.
